In Vendres and the surrounding area, there is no shortage of cycle paths. They allow you to go around the Etang de Vendres, take you to the Mediterranean Sea, take you along the Aude or allow you to discover the Canal du Midi strong>. So many settings that will delight all cycling enthusiasts and enthusiasts.

Between Valras and Vendres Fine sand beaches

Less than two kilometers separate you from the first beach. Meet at the Vendres-Plage Beach. We also recommend the Plage Côté Sud, the Plage des Montilles, the Plage de Caron Rimbert and the Plage de Valras

  • Sigean Reserve (49 km): reserve which shelters more than 3,800 animals over 300 hectares.

  • Canal du Midi (a few kilometers): French navigation canal which has linked Toulouse to the Mediterranean since the 17th century. 
  • 9 Fonseranes Locks (15 km): emblematic passage of the Canal du Midi, in the heart of the town of Béziers, a spectacle not to be missed. 
  • The Malpas site and its Gallo-Roman remains
  • Carcassonne (91 km): medieval city with Château Comtal and ramparts, with exceptional conservation.

  • Béziers (16 km): town steeped in history on the banks of the Orb where you can visit the Halles, the Arena and Saint-Nazaire Cathedral.

  • Sète (64 km): stroll through Sète and discover its port, the Cadre Royal, Mont Saint-Clair or the Ponte Courte district.
  • Saint-Guilhem-le-Désert (75 km): stroll through this charming village and learn more about its treasures such as the Gorges de l'Hérault or the Abbey of Gellone.
